Shanghai Changning Senior School is located on 1302 Changning Road, Shanghai's Changning District. The building area is over 11088 sq. m. In this modern integrated school, there are world-class advanced teaching equipments, with a wide playground and beautiful nature environment. The principle of this famous school is “be hard-working, pragmatic, explore and seeking truth” and the style of “be honest, law-abiding, hardworking and probe” in searching knowledge. The ethos of the school and persist in the "stability and development, and development of a feature characteristics to promote forward" three-step development ideas in the past years.

School was "H-type" layout and orderly looking. The total area is 4200 sq. m in campus with a 200m plastic ring standardized runway sports ground. There are table tennis training stadium with more than 300 sq. m, a gymnasium with 210 sq. m and a dance studio with 97 sq. m.
