As a main traffic hub in eastern China, Shanghai's the long distance bus services are very convenient too. There are two main long distance bus stations in Shanghai : Shanghai Coach Station and Shanghai South Coach Station, which these stations are adjacent to the main train stations, as well as major transfer hubs are located near Shanghai Railway Station, People’s Square, Xujiahui (徐家汇), Zhongshan Park and Wujiaochang (五角场). They provide quality long distance coach services to neighboring towns and cities, such as Hangzhou, Ningbo and Suzhou and many longer distance routes as far as remote areas in other provinces in China. But for the longer routes, please beware of the safety and be vigilant for you belongings while you are on your way to the destination.
