Call Us From
Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum

Do you know that traditional Chinese medicine is seen in our daily life more often than you think and that is not solely as a treatment when ailments attack us? You may feel very hot in Shanghai's summer so that you can have a cup of Chinese herbal tea to cool down, taste a bowl of Hong Kong style herbal jelly (called locally Guilinggao, originally from Guangxi), or enjoy the warm Chinese medicinal soup in the chilly wintertime in Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum.

The museum located inside Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has three halls, namely the Medical History Museum of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Medical Association, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Specimen Hall and the University History Exhibition Hall. Today it has about 15,000 items of traditional Chinese medicine heritage from the Stone Age to modern days also it emphasizes the 5,000-year Chinese medical history education, and demonstrates the Chinese medical achievements.
